After a fun couple of days exploring Baltimore in the 2018 Kia Rio (available as a sedan or a 5-door hatchback), I now know that it is a great car for teenagers. While I am glad that my kiddos are not yet in that stage of life (even though they will be before I know it), it is good to know that when they are ready there will be a vehicle for them that I trust. Not only is it affordable, it offers fuel efficiency, innovative technology and advanced safety technology…all great features for our teenage drivers.
Before getting to drive the 2018 Kia Rio, we got to learn more about the vehicle itself. Here’s the key things that stood out for me, especially as a mom:
***A fuel economy improvement of 28 city/37 highway/32 combined (automatic, both 5-door and sedan).
***A generous roster of features including Bluetooth® hands-free functionality , a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio and a rear-view camera system.

*** UVO3 voice recognition infotainment system and smartphone integration through Android AutoTM and Apple CarPlayTM
***A ‘tiger-nose’ grille and newly designed headlights that are swept back for a more aggressive appearance.
***Parents, you’re going to love this…
