We love Universal Studios and we love the Transformers so when we got the opportunity to go check out the new Transformers 3-D Ride at Universal Studios we were all excited…Yes, us adults too!

Universal Studios

If you like the Spider-Man ride at Islands of Adventure, you’re going to love the Transformers 3-D Ride because it has more of a mini-roller coaster feel and incredible graphics that make you feel like you are in the battle scenes. My kiddos and I really liked it.

There was a bit of a line for the Transformers 3-D Ride but while you are waiting, there are TV’s throughout that are prepping you for the ride and building up the story line. ***If you want to drastically reduce your wait time on the rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, you should definitely invest in their Universal Express Pass. This is great, especially when you have smaller children who seem to not have the patience to wait.

In addition to the Transformers 3-D Ride my kids were really excited about going on The Simpsons Ride because they loved it the last time we were there (and this time too). It is cool to see the expansion that is going on, they have really brought Springfield to life.

There was one ride I just had to go on before we left the park and that was Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit®. It is awesome! But I have to admit that I was questioning my judgement (and praying) after I was strapped in the ride with only a lap bar to keep me safe as we went straight up (at a 90 degree angle) and went soaring down at 65 mph and did a loop…but that’s what made it awesome, so you need to give it a try. Plus, you get to pick a song before the ride begins that you can listen to throughout the ride. And, it’s all recorded on video!

As always, my family and I had a blast at Universal Studios. If you haven’t yet checked out the Transformers 3-D Ride then it’s time to start planning a visit there.
