The other night my hubby and I got to have a much-needed and long overdue date night. Once the babysitter arrived, we headed on down to Miami to watch Slava’s SnowShow.

I was excited about seeing the show after having read the official synopsis:
A cross between Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group, this entertainment phenomenon takes audiences on an alluring 90-minute journey that is “pure magic…an evening of enchantment and fun!” (The Express) The breathtaking show created by Slava, the original Cirque du Soleil’s clown genius, is an awesome theatrical experience and a profoundly moving spectacle full of vibrant wondrous images, delightful comedy, enchanting music and snow — lots and lots of snow.
**Speaking of snow, there isn’t actual snow but it does get a bit chilly. So, if you get cold easily like I do, you may want to bring a jacket with you.
Slava’s SnowShow made us laugh but I really enjoyed the second part of the show the best. The pace picked up some and the scenes were funny.
Slava’s SnowShow is good for both adults and children. There were kids in the audience and they seemed to enjoy the show as well (you could hear them laughing). It helps that the show is very interactive with the audience.
At one point, some of the clowns walked the aisles with an umbrella and a bottle of water. Some of the audience members were getting wet so my husband saw one headed his way and he tried to avoid getting wet by moving out of the way. While my husband thought he was in the clear, he was wrong because the clown saw my hubby move and made it a point to come back and wet him (too funny!). Just when my hubby thought he was in the clear, another clown came by and wet him as well but was nice enough to come back and wipe his head with a napkin. Everyone was laughing and thankfully the person next to me captured a picture of it.

Like I said, the Slava’s SnowShow is very interactive. So if you get a kick out of being a part of the show, I suggest you sit in the middle and towards the front. Even if you’re not up front, you still get to be a part of the show. I won’t say much more because I don’t want to give anything else away.
Be sure to check out Slava’s SnowShow! If you’re in South Florida, the show will be playing at the Ziff Ballet Opera House through August 25…so, you have plenty of time to get your tickets and see the show.

Disclosure: I was provided with tickets to Slava’s SnowShow in order to facilitate my review. ALL opinions are my own.

Oh, I saw this show many many years ago and it was an amazing experience! I would love to see it again one day with my family!
How neat! I have never heard of this, but it sounds like a great show! Would love to see it! Lol! Yes, never move when you don’t want to be seen! I had the same thing happen to me at a comedy club! I was trying to avoid getting picked, and sure enough, the guy picked up on my movement and came right to me!
How fun! Looks like you had a great time!
