Pitch Perfect opens in theaters everywhere today, 10/5, and if you like to laugh and enjoy (or don’t mind) some singing you MUST go watch it!!! It is ACA – AWESOME!!!! (Once you see the movie you’ll understand)
When I was invited to see the Pitch Perfect, I didn’t know too much about the film except that it was about a bunch of singing college students but it was much more than that! Maybe if I had watched the trailer or previews before hand I wouldn’t have underestimated the film and would have been better prepared for what I experienced that night. Pitch Perfect was HILARIOUS!!!! I laughed so hard that at one point I was crying. Each character is dynamic (some even odd) but it works and makes the film all the more funny and entertaining from beginning to end.
I took my 11 year old sister with me (with her parents permission of course) and there were some parts of the film that I felt were to much for her whether because of inappropriate language, body shots and references. That being said…you know your child and you know what they should and should not be watching so use your discretion.
*You can check out my sister’s review of the film later today…
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this film…I only wish my best friend was there to see it with me. It’s the kind of movie we would have cracked up the entire time to. So, I plan on seeing it again with her this time and I will eventually own it on DVD. Yes, it is that funny!
Disclosure: I was invited to screen the movie before it was open to the public. However, no other compensation was provided and ALL opinions expressed are my own.
