Hard to believe that 10 weeks had past already but it was time for my 2nd Laser Hair Removal Treatment on my under arms. So, I headed on down to the Body Detail’s office in Ft. Lauderdale and I was out of there in 20 minutes. The process doesn’t take long at all and while I won’t say the process is painless it really isn’t that bad (otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it as I am not a fan of pain). If you’re concerned about the pain you can always take Tylenol before your treatment to increase comfort.
After my 1st Laser hair removal session back in December it took about 4 – 5 weeks for the hair to start growing back due to a process called “shedding”. During those weeks of shedding I didn’t need to shave and I loved it. Let’s see how long I can go without needing to shave this time around. I can’t wait until I never have to shave again!
If you’re doing laser hair removal or are considering it, here are some ways you can prepare for your treatment session:
- Shave the area the day before your treatment
- The treatment area must be clean: be sure to remove make-up, lotion, deodorant ointments from the area being treated.
- If you wax, pluck, tweeze or bleach the area you need to wait 2-4 weeks prior to treatment and you must stop doing it for he duration of the treatment
- Try avoiding caffeine the day of your treatment
*There are more but you should definitely speak with your treatment center
Body Details has various locations throughout South Florida and they offer various packages (you tell them what body parts you want to have it done on and they create a package for you), payment plans and a life time guarantee on the areas they treat.
Disclosure: I am being provided with laser hair removal in order to facilitate my review. However, ALL opinions are my own.
