My son is thrilled to have received the Nintendo Labo: VR Kit to review. All opinions are my own.
As a child, I was super excited when I received a Nintendo gaming system for Christmas. I still remember that feeling of joy not only as I unwrapped the gift wrapping paper to see it but I also remember how much joy I felt as I played it. Which is why I get the excitement I see my son play on his Nintendo Switch.
It goes without saying that Nintendo had stepped up their game over the years (no pun intended) but what I really love (and appreciate as a parent) is their ability to combine a child’s love of video games with a way for the child(ren) to use their imagination and be creative with Nintendo Labo. While I think they are all cool, what I want to highlight now is the Nintendo Labo: VR Kit.
Nintendo Labo: VR Kits introduces virtual reality in a unique and approachable way for kids and families. The Virtual Reality aspect of it all takes it to a whole other level!
All the games and experiences in Nintendo Labo: VR Kit are designed to be shared, fun and social. By simply taking turns, everyone can participate. Some of the games even allow players who aren’t looking in the Toy-COn VR Goggles to interact with on-screen experiences.
Retailing at $79.99, The Nintendo Labo: VR Kit is now available and includes the Nintendo Switch software and materials to build all six Toy-Con projects – The Toy-Con VR Goggles, Toy-Con Blaster, Toy-Con Camera, Toy-Con Bird, Toy-Con Wind Pedal and Toy-Con Elephant in addition to the screen holder and other accessories.
