My daughter and I always watch Dancing with the Stars together. It is our show. It’s been our thing since 2014, after I had the chance to sit in the audience and meet some of the talent. So, when I found out that I’d be getting to dance it out with the Dancing With The Stars Troupe Members, she gave me the look. You know, the “I’m jealous”, “Why do you get to do this and not me” Look.
As soon as we walked into the dance studio, we were greeted by the Dancing With The Stars Troupe Members: Alan Bersten, Brittany Cherry, Britt Stewart, Hayley Erbert, Brandon Stewart and newest member Artur Adamski. All of them were so nice but but I was immediately drawn to Alan. After all, he had filled in for Maksim and danced with Heather Morris while he was injured and did a phenomenal job. Plus, he has such a great personality and a smile that is super contagious.
I slipped on my flats did some mild stretching (if you can even really call it that) and was ready to get my dance on. After a quick warm up and being taught a few of the salsa moves we were separated into teams to perfect the rest of our dance before the dance off.
Can you guess who’s team I was on?
Here’s a quick clip of our practice.
I know I am biased but I have to say that our team rocked it. I am sure Alan removing his shirt in the middle of the dance is really why everyone was applauding as loud as they did but I am going to pretend that it was because we did so well.
You can check out the video of our dance routine below.
It was such a fun afternoon!!!!
