Once The Bachelor hands out his final rose and proposed to the woman he has cbosen to be his future wife, fans are left wondering, what’s next? What’s life like for them when it’s just the two of them? Well now you get to see for yourself in the new show Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?
While In LA, we watched the second episode of their show and then sat and chatted with Ben & Lauren. They had actually finished filming the season the week before we interviewed them. When asked hiw they felt about the cameras being on them, they both agreed that they eventually forgot the cameras were there.
Here’s what else they had to say…
- Ben mentioned that being on The Bachelor isn’t easy to go through and that it changes you.
- Watching their season of The Bachelor air was a difficult time for them but part of Ben’s strategy was to always be truthful as he could with with Lauren.
- Yes, some of the past Bachelor participants do still hang out together. Partly because they have a shared experience that not many can relate to.
- After meeting Chad at Jojo’s (after the final rose was given), Lauren felt bad for him because he was sitting there by himself and no one was talking to him. She knows that he has said and done things are not acceptable but he was very likeable during their conversation.
- The twins are very supportive of their relationship. You’ll see them in future episodes of their show because they are a part of their lives.
- Both of them are pretty up front with each other and honest. Lauren joked that they sometimes even over communicate.
- While what they say and do are not “produced” they do try to make sure that they have activities to do while they are there to film because no one wants to see them sitting watching TV every episode.
- Since Lauren likes to do pranks on Ben (which you may have seen on episode 2), Ben tries to get her back during press events so that it puts her on the spot.
- Although it’s not really a prank, she really enjoys trying to scare Ben. Ben shared a funny story about it:
“…We’re in Indiana with my family…and I see her kind of like, crawl across the living room floor…and I can just see her feet, scurrying behind her. She gets behind my parents’ liquor cabinet. There’s a big window on the other side of the liquor cabinet, and I’m on the other side of the window, and she doesn’t think I can see her, but I can see her feet sticking out. So I just sit down….if she’s going to hide, let’s see how long she can hide for. I think she was there a good 10 minutes…waiting for me to open the door.” and then he ended up scaring her instead.
- They have their holiday plans all figured out (since both of their families live in different states). Lauren said “… we’re going to alternate Thanksgivings, this year we’ll spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then next year with his…hopefully every Christmas, we’ll try to go to both places.”
- They’ll be going on their first vacation together right before Halloween.

“The Letter” is a bold, new relationship show that asks the simple question: “If you could anonymously tell your best friend in a letter the things that he or she really needed to hear, would you do it?” In each stand-alone episode, four friends draw names and anonymously write to the selected person a thoughtful, yet totally honest letter outlining their opinion of what needs to be changed in order to improve and transform their friend’s life for the better.
