It’s National Hamburger Month! I hadn’t even realized that there was a whole month dedicated to it but now that I know, I’m going to take full advantage of it!
Now that school is out and I’ll be filling my days with activities for the kiddos to stay entertained with, I really don’t see myself wanting to spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing and cooking dinner (I know, I won’t have the energy to do it). Although eating out everyday would be nice, realistically it is not an option and my husband doesn’t do much cooking, so that leaves me finding delicious yet simple meals that will fill their tummies and keep them happy. That’s where Hamburger Helper® comes in, especially during National Hamburger Month. If I have it, I simply serve it with a bread and/or a salad because my family enjoys it that way (but the meal doesn’t need it, that is completely optional). Oh, you can also get creative and prepare a unique recipe using Hamburger Helper® which is what I’ll be doing this week (so check back for that).
I am not a big fan of serving the same meal to the family week after week…I need variety. That’s another reason Hamburger Helper® works for my family because it has a variety of options for you to choose from.
You can purchase Hamburger Helper® at Walmart, which is what I have done while I am there purchasing other items I need for the house (saving me time). My kiddos like giving me their input as to which ones to try…

I finally have an “excuse” to eat all the hamburger meat that I want during the month of June (not that I really needed an excuse to begin with, LOL). What’s your favorite Hamburger Helper®?
