About The Boxtrolls
A family event movie from the creators of “Coraline” and “ParaNorman” that introduces audiences to a new breed of family – The Boxtrolls, a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs (voiced by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) in the amazing cavernous home they’ve built beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. When the town’s villain, Archibald Snatcher (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley), comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, “into the light,” where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnie (Elle Fanning). Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs’ family.

This movie looks so adorable. I cannot wait too see it with my kiddo! I love the animation style. Clever and funny.
Yes I have seen the trailer with my two kids and they laugh ! , I really would love and recommend this movie with families with children! 🙂
We actually saw it when we went to See How to Train Your Dragon 2 on Friday. It looked good and like there was plenty of humor.
Oh my gawd! I want to see this movie in the worst way. I think the boxtrolls are so cute! (for some reason???) It’s going to seem like a long wait.
This looks like such a fun movie. I am all about great movies that the grandkids will watch so we will see it when it comes to town.
A movie my whole family can see and enjoy. It is hard to find anything that a 12 year old boy sports fanatic and a 10 year old “tomboy” can enjoy and mom and dad don’t get bored watching. I hope to get to the theater to see it when it comes out. Thanks for the heads up.
