My hubby and I consider ourselves to be experts on the Dr. Seuss film, “The Lorax” and not because he or I were part of the production team or because of an extensive research in all things Dr. Seuss. Not even because I got the chance to meet The Lorax this past weekend.
It’s because our kids have made us watch this movie 42 times (OK, fine…I may have exaggerated by 2). They LOVE this movie!! You may be wondering why we would put ourselves through this. Here are a few reasons:
- It’s always entertaining (even for the adults).
- It’s time with out kids that doesn’t involve going outside. (We really aren’t outdoor loving people)
- Our kids LOVE IT and we love seeing them smile. Our son, who for some reason can’t seem to remember the name and therefore has us tell him over and over, loves the rhymes and the colorful characters while our daughter loves to sing and dance to the musical numbers.
Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax” offers the typical enjoyment expected from a Dr. Seuss story. It’s full of unique characters and an interesting yet educational storyline & lesson to be learned.
