The day after interviewing the cast of Moana (I’ll be sharing those interviews soon) I got all dressed up in a dress and makeup to attend the Moana World Premiere. Needless to say that I was just a little bit excited.
We arrived at the Premiere to see that the event was being held right in front of El Capitan Theater.
Fans lined the security gates to catch a glimpse, maybe even an autograph, of the celebrities in attendance that evening. Given that the guest list included The Rock and Lin Manuel, I can understand why they were there. As I made my way onto the red blue carpet, I tried to take it all in. There was was so much going on.
There were celebrities to my left getting their photos taken and being interviewed.
There was live entertainment in several parts of the event.
There was so much for us to do and enjoy. You could eat, take a Moana photo, get an air brushed tattoo and play games. Guests even received a pair of Havaianas Sandals (which are super comfortable and came in handy at the end of the evening).
With all that, the icing on the cake is getting to be among so many celebrities. I was able to snap pics with these actors…

It was time for the main event, so we made our way into El Capitan Theater. Before getting to see Moana (which I loved!), we got to see a performance by Opetaia Foa’i. I love the Moana soundtrack, so getting to see him perform the music he helped create for the film was pretty incredible.
The Moana World Premiere was so much fun!
