Being at a press junket in itself is pretty cool but that’s taken to a whole other level when the press junket you’ll be hanging out all day is for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was definitely a unique experience and one that I will treasure. From the moment we walked in we were asked to choose the dark side or the right side. Of course I chose the dark side…
Since words for the experience won’t do it justice, I figured let me show you through pictures (and brief descriptions of course)
We had the chance to meet r2d2 and c3po…I think they knew I had chosen the dark side considering how scared they look…
I softened up some before meeting BB – 8, I didn’t want to scare him too…
There was an opportunity to try out ice cream but in this case I chose the light side because I’m a fan of vanilla ice cream. However this wasn’t vanilla it was actually marshmallow flavored.
We were able to see the costumes used for Star Wars…
Of course I tried out the Star Wars experience available from Verizon…
I created a wish list of Star Wars items I want to own…
I even stopped by the Playmation booth since my son has told me 10 million times that he wants the new Star Wars Playset releasing on 12/18.
We had Star Wars shirts Made…
In addition to the interviews we did with some of the cast, we were also able to sit in on one of the press conferences that was moderated by Mindy Kaling (who is hilarious!). Being interviewed:
