There has never been a time that my family and I have gone to Universal Studios and not had a good time. There are a ton of shows to enjoy, places to eat and of course some awesome rides! If you are ever at Universal Studios (which I highly suggest), here are 7 Rides You Must Try At Universal Studios:
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™
Hey Harry Potter Fans, you’re going to love the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter located inside Diagon Alley. It’s a new, 3D multi-dimensional ride that takes you on an adventure with Harry Potter and his friends through the Gringotts™ bank.
The Simpsons Ride™
This is the ride that my kiddos have us go on at least 3 times. They just love it (and so do we). Take a ride with The Simpsons™ through Krustyland, the theme park as you ride a roller coaster, fly, float, and crash your way through Krustyland’s kiddie attractions, stunt shows, and thrill rides.
Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
This 3D Ride is both funny and fun as you become a minion and go through minion training. If you love the Despicable Me movies as much as we do (and even if you don’t), it’s worth riding on.
MEN IN BLACK™ Alien Attack™
Ever want to join Men In Black? Here’s your chance! This ride takes you the training as you zap aliens and earn points. What’s cool is that there are multiple endings so you if you ride it multiple times (like we did) it’s a different experience.
TRANSFORMERS: The Ride-3D
Fight alongside Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, as we try to keep the Allspark from falling into enemy hands. You can read more about my TRANSFORMERS: The Ride-3D experience here.
Revenge of the Mummy®
This is a great ride! My kiddos will ride it but with their eyes closed because they aren’t fans of the way the mummy’s look, LOL.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit®
The kids have not ridden this one and I am sure they won’t until they are a bit older. This one is intense because of how you start off, which is at a 90 degree angle but once you get going it is awesome. In the interest of full disclosure, I questioned why I got on as we slowly made our way up but LOVED it and thought it was definitely worth riding. plus, you can choose the music you listen to while you ride.
I’ve said it before but it is definitely worth stating it again: Make sure you get the Express because it is definitely worth the investment. Nothing like not waiting in long lines for a ride and getting to do your favorites more than once.
We had a great time at Universal Studios!!!!
Note: I was provided with complimentary passes to Universal Studios in order to facilitate my review. However, all opinions are my own.
I love universal studios. I have never been to Orlando but we often make a day to Holleywood. We have season passes. They don’t have all the rides you mentioned but still fun.
All these rides look like so much fun, we have never been to Orlando, but we will be going soon to Universal Studios we have a family vacation plan to go next summer. The harry potter and Minion ride would be my first picks.
Great post! Now we know what rides to try at Universal. I think my kids will love these! Thanks for the awesome suggestions!
