Everyone will love Paddington after seeing the film (which is now in theaters). What’s not to love about a cute bear who speaks English (and bear) and is dressed up in human clothing? A bear that seems to get himself into and out of trouble very easily which makes the movie very entertaining. So entertaining that it really is a movie for the whole family.
My family and I attended a pre-screenig of the film and we loved it!
Initially, my husband wasn’t very excited about going to go see the movie but I made him go with us anyways and at the end of it all, he was glad he did. He loved the movie (but hated admitting that he was glad he had gone with us because that proved once again that I was right, LOL).
I get why he was reluctant to see it at first…He was concerned about the storyline: a talking bear. He didn’t think they’d explain it but they did and while it doesn’t answer every question, it was enough to bring the movie together.
We all loved it and shared a lot of laughter while watching it. You and the family should go and see Paddington…you’ll be glad you did.
Paddington Synopsis
From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER), PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you.” and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

I grew up reading Paddington books, which my kids now read them, it is exciting to see they made a movie. It is kind of funny how I heard about this movie, cause he is a talking bear, and a new TED movie is coming out, (more for adults) and he also is a talking bear. So two bear movies.
