Just because it is summer time doesn’t mean the kiddos have to stop learning nor should they. The key is finding a fun way for them to do something educational so that they do so willingly or without too much of a hassle. While that can be tricky it is not impossible. Now you can introduce your child to coding, which is fun, with this Ozobot 2.0 Bit starter pack. Thankfully, they had done some coding this past school year and loved it. So, I knew I’d have no problem getting them to “play” with the Ozobot Bit.
With the Ozobot Bit, your child can create various experiences and discover new adventures by drawing, racing, programing and even having the Ozobots battle. My daughter loves drawing so getting to draw various designs for the Ozobot was one of her favorite parts. Once she got the hang of it, she drew up a ton of designs.
The Ozobot is unique in that the initial learning is understanding that colors can dictate action, which leads to cause/effect building blocks for future programming. Using the included markers, children draw colorful designs that Bit’s optical sensors read as movement commands. While over 20 activities are included with this Ozobot 2.0 Bit starter pack, more can be downloaded from the Ozobot app for even more possibilities.
