10 aspiring models will rock the runways and try to out pose, out style and outdo each other to be named the next Model Latina in nuvoTV’s hit competition reality show (and best kept secret), “Model Latina”. Not to mention, the chance to win $25,000 cash, a spot as a nuvoTV’s spokesperson and a modeling contract with international modeling agency Q Management.

Hosted by Jocelyn Pierce, this reality show is back with its fifth season and this time the challenges are more intense and there are hot celebrity guests and judges that include Carlos Ponce (Puerto Rican Actor, Singer, and Songwriter), Franco Lacosta (Renowned Fashion Photographer) and Ines Rivero (Model and Victoria’s Secret Angel). On a side note, I am so excited that Carlos Ponce is one of the judges! I actually met him a few years ago when I was in high school (it was about 14+ years but saying a “few” doesn’t make me feel as old) because my step-father used to do the shirts for a show he used to co-host. Truth Moment…I had a little bit of a crush on him back then (OK, OK…”Little bit” maybe an understatement), so much so that when he left a message on my answering machine I replayed over and over (cut me some slack, I was in high school!). All this to say that I am always happy to see him doing so well in his career.

Filmed in South Beach (previously shot in New York and Las Vegas), it promises to be the most exciting season ever with with game-changing shockers, mischievous tricks, shocking model mishaps and escalating envy keep the diva drama in overdrive.
