It was a no brainer when I was asked to review the NewAir AB-850 Beverage Cooler because I love to entertain. I thought it would be a cool (pun intended) way to keep my beverages cold during my events. Thankfully, my son’s 5th birthday party was right around the corner so I decided to put it to use then (otherwise I would have had to plan an event just to use it).
While the NewAir AB-850 Beverage Cooler is meant to hold 84 cans, I opted to use it for the kids juices.
Not only did it look super cute filled with the juice pouches but I think it worked out better for the kids. They didn’t have to stick their hand into freezing water/ice to get their drinks. There was also no water mess from the water that usually drips off the side of the drinks. Plus, it saved me some money on buying ice that I can never properly estimate on how much to buy.
I love it’s look. It is stainless steel and black and has a glass door. The glass door is especially great for kids so they can see what they want to drink before opening the door and wasting electricity as they look around trying to decide what to get.
It’s thermostat allows you to control and adjust the temperature (34 – 64 degrees) and you don’t have to worry about a lot of maintenance because it has an automatic defrost feature (less work for my hubby).
You can also move the shelves around and customize it to fit your storage needs. So, for the juices we actually removed a shelf to make it fit the way we wanted it to.
So far I am really liking my NewAir AB-850 Beverage Cooler…I may just have to have another event to use it…LOL.
