I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I look for any occasion to celebrate and do something fun with my hubby and kiddos. Being that today is National Pie Day I was all for turning it into a celebration! I mean, what better day to enjoy some yummy pie and spend quality time with the family. Earlier in the day, I headed to the store and bought a few decorations and Marie Callender’s Chocolate Satin Mini Pies

*Each package comes with 2 mini pies which is a nice portion and prevents you from eating to much.  Plus there are other Marie Callender’s Mini Pies to choose from like their Coconut Cream Mini Pie and Key Lime Mini Pie.

After dinner we typically eat dessert (if the kids have been good and they eat all of their dinner) but it was nice to be able to spruce things up and do something special for them.

They couldn’t wait to dig in. I am guessing that my hubby was more anxious then the kiddos were…LOL.  The piggy was a bit excited as well.

Once we started chowing down, the house went quiet (which is rare here)

My thoughts: The Chocolate Satin Mini Pie was DELICIOUS!!!!!

My hubby’s thoughts:  It was so good, he wanted a 2nd one!

My baby girl’s thoughts: It was creamy and Good!

Piggy’s thoughts:  Oink! Oink! (Which means “Yummy!”)

I really, really liked the Chocolate Satin Mini Pie. Have you had them? If so, you can leave a review and rating at MarieCallendersMeals.com for this pie or any other Marie Callender’s products you’ve tried.

You can also check out Marie Callender’s blog and share what kind of pie you celebrated Pie Day with (sweet or savory).
