In Kissing Booth 2 there’s young romance, friendship, a ton of embarrassing moments and you know what? I was there for it!
If you watched the first film and liked it, then like me, you were probably eager to watch this sequel. After all, we had to know Noah and Elle’s love would stand the test of being miles apart and that is exactly what this movie explores. New friendships are formed, potential new romances unfold, Noah and Elle’s relationship is challenged and Elle’s friendship with Lee is forced to evolved. All of which lends to some funny scenes and all kinds of drama.
Yes, some of it was predictable but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. You also need to put aside the fact that a school allows so many shenanigans to go on there but I recognize its just a movie. I guess that is just the parent in me speaking. Speaking of which, given its mature content, this movie is not appropriate for the younger kids.
Kissing Booth 2 was a bit long but it held my attention. It was fun to watch and we need more of that, especially these days. Oh, and no worries if you haven’t yet seen the first one, they give you a recap at the beginning of the movie.
With the way they left the film, I wonder if there will be a part 3. If there is, I’ll be watching it. I know that I enjoy these movies probably more than I should but I love romantic comedies (even if they may be meant for a younger audience). That being said, I’ve seen my fair share of them and I really enjoyed Kissing Booth 2. So, if you haven’t already seen it, you should.

I didn’t like it as much as the first one, but it was still enjoyable to watch. Hopefully the third one will be better.
