As a blogger I spend a lot of time in front of the computer which means I have a ton of tension in my shoulders and pain in my lower back. Who knew the life of a blogger could be so stressful huh? Maybe it’s also because I am also a wife and mom. Oh yeah, there’s also this thing called “Life” that adds to my stress level too.

Despite it’s cause, a massage helps ease the tension and pain away. They aren’t just a luxury, they provide wellness and help with Fibromyalgia and Arthritis, reduce Blood Pressure, increase blood circulation and reduce stress.

I started going to the Chiropractor about 2 years ago and since then I have gotten to know Joanne, a friendly massage practitioner who has given me massages on my back as part of my treatment. After my first session with her, I would make it a point to go to the chiropractor on the days she was there and then hope that the doctor would offer me the massage treatment (mama didn’t raise a dummy). Not only is she sweet but she is also very good at what she does.

The treatments are only a 10 minute session but after she was done I’d feel more relaxed and less tense. Imagine what she could with more time. So, I finally made an appointment with Joanne for a full body massage.
I arrived at her office stressed (as I always am) and an hour later I left extremely relaxed. It’s amazing what a good massage can do for your body and mind. I didn’t want it to end.
