It has been a while since I have taken the time to decorated an Easter Egg and when I did, I don’t recall it being a work of art that I could brag about. These days, there are so many cool things you can do to decorate the egg and movies and TV shows serve as the inspiration for some of the coolest ones I have seen. You can turn a plain egg into an “egg”celent work of art…a Nerdy Easter Egg.
What you’ll need to Create a Nerdy Easter Egg…
- Painters tape
- Acrylic paints
- Pencil (with an eraser) to sketch out your design(s)
- Sharpie marker for some of the fine details
Get Started…
- Boil the egg or drain and rinse by poking a small hole at the bottom of the egg
- Find a character and an image of that character to reference.
- Start by using a pencil to draw out your design.
- Place painters tape in the areas needed.
- Paint your egg
- Allow some time for it to dry
- Use the sharpie(s) for the details
