A special thank you to the DoubleTree Orlando at SeaWorld for hosting my family and I. All opinions are my own.

Whether it is an extended vacation or a short getaway, my family and I are always up for a new adventure. Our latest of which was visiting the DoubleTree Orlando at SeaWorld. After a week of traveling, a mini getaway was just what we needed for some quality time together! It also allowed us to check out the resorts latest renovations.

With the kids getting older, they want (and need) more space in our rooms when we travel. So, I was happy to see how nice and big our room was.

Even with the desk, chairs and refrigerator, there was still so much space!

The bathroom was spacious as well.

The great thing about having so much to do on the property, is that you don’t have to leave to enjoy some family fun and create memories.

Because there is so much to do, you should definitely schedule time to enjoy all of its amenities.

You can go for a swim in the pool, take a dip in hot tub or play a game of mini golf.

There is also a ping pong table, pool table and a foosball table for you to enjoy.

Like I said, you can have fun without leaving the resort and the same can be said when it comes to food. There are 2 restaurants on property and a mini market. We dined at Laguna for dinner and the food was incredibly good!!! My husband only wished the portions were a little bigger, LOL. We also enjoyed a breakfast buffet at Laguna and got our fill before heading out to SeaWorld.

One of the days, we checked out Alberto’s Pizzeria. I’ve gotta say, vacations are so much better when you can eat in bed…am I right?

I mentioned earlier that they had recently made some renovations and I think it is great that they incorporated the feedback of their guests. So what’s new there?

  • Refrigerator in all of the rooms
  • Extra charging ports in all of the rooms
  • The fitness center is now bigger
  • A pavilion was added and they now have a veranda for more outdoor space.
  • They now have covered walk ways
  • Extended meeting space
  • They redid the informational signs throughout the property

During our stay there, we also went to SeaWorld (which was easy to do because the DoubleTree offers a FREE shuttle service to their parks). Because you are staying at the property, you can also get a discount on your tickets and FREE Quick Que for your time at the park.

Tip: Make sure you take advantage of Quick Que, it gives you access to a shorter line for certain rides at SeaWorld.

Additional benefits of staying at the DoubleTree Orlando at SeaWorld:

  • Walking distance to SeaWorld and close to convention center
  • Central to Universal Studios and Disney World.
  • They have a ton of family activities every day
  • They are pet friendly

Tip: If you have a pet allergy, be sure to let them know when making your reservation so that they can deep clean the room.
