Did you know that Disneyland had a birthday on July 17, 2015? Disneyland has been spreading their magical pixie dust to our families for 60 years now! In commemoration of their 60th Anniversary, a Disneyland Diamond Celebration is in full effect!

While I was in Anaheim for the D23 Expo, I was able to experience the Disneyland Diamond Celebration 2 nights in a row! Insert Happy Dance here.

From the moment you step inside the gates of Disneyland, you are greeted with 60th Celebration decorations…

The decorations are pretty but its the special treats they have for their guests that really makes it magical:

Disneyland Forever Fireworks

Enjoy 14 minutes of Fireworks that are amazingly beautiful and can be seen from mostly anywhere in Disneyland. I actually watched them as my friend, Josh, and I stood in the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride.

That’s where I captured this photo…

Paint the Night Electrical Parade

Paint the Night Electrical Parade

Revel in the glow of one million colorful lights during the biggest, brightest and most vibrant parade in the history of Disneyland Park! You and your family will get to see some of your Disney Favorites from the movies Frozen, Cars, Toy Story & More. Of course, you also get to see Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse!

World of Color – Celebrate!

Watch images of characters come to life on a veil of mist, while water forms fanciful shapes in time to memorable music at the Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure Park.

Those 3 magical treats are in addition to all the fun you normally have at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park! While I was there, I was able to go on a lot of the rides. Well, enough to have my kiddos be mad at me for going to Disneyland without them, LOL. Especially because I was able to go on Radiator Springs Racers (our favorite ride!)

Of course, I couldn’t go to Disneyland without having a Churro and capturing it on photo.

*My churro photo was extra special because it was a photo of Josh and I holding our churros while standing in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle!

My Disneyland Diamond Celebration experience was amazing and you should definitely try and experience it for yourself if you can.
