The great thing about Macaroni and Cheese is that it can be served as a side dish or can be eaten as a stand alone meal. That and it is really yummy to eat. As you prepare your Thanksgiving meal, I wanted to share an easy way for you to prepare this fave so, I am sharing this CrockPot Macaroni and Cheese Recipe with you all. Plus, it only takes 4 ingredients!
CrockPot Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 pint of heavy cream
- A 16 oz. package of pasta elbows or another pasta if you prefer (I used corkscrew pasta this time).
- (2) 16oz packages of cheddar cheese
Directions
- Boil your pasta according to the package directions.
- Spray your crockpot with Pam spray.
- Place cooked pasta, condensed milk, heavy cream and one package of shredded cheddar into the crockpot.
- Stir all of the ingredients together.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
- Cook on low for 2 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
If you want to spice things up a bit or just expand your macaroni and cheese eating experience, you can add chopped bacon, broccoli, green onions or chives to the top of it. If you weren’t using this for a Thanksgiving meal, you can also add in some chicken, ground beef or even lobster.
