The kiddos and I started our summer vacation with a road trip to Destin, Florida. Why Destin, Florida? We wanted to check out Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park.

From now until Labor Day your family can enjoy Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park and it is definitely worth the visit!  It has 40 Water attractions and an Adventure Park. We rode most of the water slides but out of all of the attractions, the Tiki River Run was our favorite!!

We also spent a lot of time on the Lazy River

In addition to water fun, they also have golf, go karts, a thrill ride and the honolulu half pipe available for you to enjoy for an extra fee.

Teach Me 2 Save Time, Money and Sanity Tips:

  • Check their website for special offers. I was just on there and I saw a really great deal where you pay $39 and you get to enjoy Big Kahuna’s for 1 week
  • Don’t worry about bringing your own floatation devices, they have Coast Guard approved life vests available for use and it’s FREE.
  • They have a Late admission discount available that starts 3 hours prior to closing.
  • Store your items in one of their lockers that way you don’t have to worry about them (and you can enjoy yourself)

Our family really enjoyed Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park and if we are ever in Destin, Fl again we will make it a point to go again.
