As a child, Christmas mornings were always exciting for me. But there is one Christmas morning that I remember above all others. I don’t recall exactly how old I was, but I remember that everything I opened was Barbie®. I was over the moon!!!!

That morning, I got Barbie® dolls, clothes, and accessories (like a little pink record player that you could wind up). I got a pink convertible and even a Barbie® Ice Cream Shop that actually made ice cream. It was one of my favorite Christmas memories because “Santa” really took care of me.

As I got older, there were certain Barbie® items that even though I had outgrown, I refused to get rid of, just in case my daughter would one day want to play with them. I only wish that some of the NEW Barbie® items my daughter gets to play with were around when I was her age. Like the Barbie® Dreamhouse®. Have you seen it?

Just a few weeks ago, my daughter added the Barbie Dreamhouse to her Christmas list, and after checking it out for myself, I can see why. Here are a few reasons why your daughter is going to love the Barbie® Dreamhouse®

  • It features 3 stories, 7 rooms (Kitchen, Bathroom, Dining Room, Bedroom + Walk-in Closet, Living Room, new dedicated Pet Room, Garage/Bonus Play Room). Did I mention it also has a working elevator that slides up and down with the tab? Because it does.
  • It also comes fully furnished (70+ accessories). Part of its furniture is “Smart” Furniture” that has 5 interchangeable pieces that add lights, sounds, and motions to enhance their play.

*The aquarium lights up, makes bubble sounds, and fish swim around.
*The Fan moves and lights up.
*The Grill lights up and makes sizzle sounds.
*The Sink lights up blue, bubbles and makes brushing teeth sounds.
*The Toilet makes a flushing sound.
*The TV has a smartphone holder.

  • The updated design is modern with a colorful tile print on the roof, black “wrought iron” balconies and design accents that include iconic Barbie® silhouettes and graphic decals.
  • With a play space of 4 feet tall and more than 3 feet wide, multiple girls can play with Barbie Dreamhouse at one time. *Play time is always enhanced when you get to do it with friends.

I can’t wait for her to see it on Christmas morning. The look on her face is going to be priceless (unless of course, she reads this post…LOL). It’s going to be so special to spend quality time with my daughter, and I can say I’m truly excited myself to relive that part of my childhood!
