Have you heard? Publix has gone and updated its coupon policy and apparently they are cracking down on how coupons are being used. I wonder why…(I’m being sarcastic of course)
Some of the Publix Coupon Policy changes include this biggies:
- You can only redeem eight of the same coupons each day, per household. *I’m sure this hurts the extreme coupon shoppers but it is definitely better for all their customers.
- Dollars-off-total-order coupons are limited to one Publix and one competitor’s coupon per day, per household. *This basically restricts the use of Winn Dixie $5 off store coupons
- Money due back to the customer at the end of a transaction involving coupons will only be provided on a Publix gift card. *I think totally makes sense and is still mutually beneficial for them and us customers.
- They only accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix or a competitor’s coupon on the same item. Plus. So essentially, it’s a maximum of two coupons per item. *So you can’t use a manufacturers coupon, a competitors coupon and a Publix coupon on the item.

While some of these I am not too happy with, I can see why they made the changes. What are your thoughts on the new Publix Coupon Policy?
