Getting to watch Thor: Ragnarok at the El Capitan Theater while the cast was watching it with us was pretty incredible. There is always such an energy in the room and had I been closer to one of the cast members (and I wasn’t so into the movie) I probably would have kept looking at their reactions (like I did when Vin Diesel was 3 rows behind me during the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Premiere).

As I headed into the theater, I expected to enjoy the film but not as much as I did. I loved it. So much so that it is now one of my favorite Marvel films and I am looking forward to seeing it again. Especially because all of us were laughing so much, and loudly, that I know I missed a few things. Plus, it is the kind of movie you can watch over and over again.

I really don’t think there is one thing I didn’t like about the movie. Seriously, it had an amazing cast (a cool cameo), a great story, it was funny (like really funny) and there was a lot of action. An added bonus, for those of us who think Chris Hemsworth is handsome, is that he has a scene in the film where he is not wearing a shirt.

Because of my lack of Comic Book knowledge, I can’t speak to comic book story lines and all that technical stuff but as someone who enjoys movie, I can say that it is worth watching. When you do, don’t forget that it is a Marvel film so make sure you stay for the final credits because there are 2 additional scenes you aren’t going to want to miss.
