In a time where most of the children entertain themselves with some sort of electronic device (I know, I sound like an old lady), I was excited for my kids to try Wearables by Kid Constructions, a collection of creative and constructible toys, because it would allow them to be creative, it is something we could do and enjoy together as a family and it would get them outside and active.
There are 3 different constructible toys to choose from:
- Stunt Plane USA
- The Dozer
- Princess Carriage
Each kit comes with the corresponding die-cut corrugated pieces needed to create your project.
The instructions are easy, (1) Create (2) Construct & (3) Wear.
(1) Create: Your kiddos (and even us adults) can get as creative we want. You can decorate your toy by using markers, crayons, stickers, paint…whatever you want! We were decorating the Stunt Plane USA, so each kid took the sides of the plane and my hubby did the pieces for the front. Everyone did it to their liking and made it their own. My hubby went on to name the plane and personalized it with each of our names. It was nice to see us all together, working on something that was ours and that we could enjoy together later.
(2) Construct: No tools are necessary. This job was given to my hubby and he did a great job!
(3) Wear: Now for the really fun part, getting to wear your master piece. As you can see from the smiles on my kiddos face they loved putting it on and chasing each other around. I love seeing them smile! I also love that it gave us a reason to go outdoors and be active.
Interesting fact: The Wearables line is eco friendly, recyclable & biodegradable and are designed, produced and packed in the USA.
Disclosure: I was provided with a Wearables Stunt Plane in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided. ALL opinions are my own.
