I decided to have a cookie party for my kiddos and some friends after receiving some really cute Williams-Sonoma Marvel Cookie Cutters and an Iron Man Spatula (in honor of the Marvel’s the Avengers Red Carpet Event in NYC that I will be attending).
If you don’t already know, I look for any reason to have a party, so I went out and bought some goodies to help us get into a Marvel’s the Avengers mood.
My son supported the event by dressing up as Captain America…

I was so happy that I had some of my friends to help me out on this adventure (Thank you Kallay, Linette & Melissa). Kallay jumped right in and started preparing the sugar cookie batter and although we had some technical difficulties with it (maybe because I added an extra teaspoon of water BUT who can really say…LOL) it definitely made it all the more interesting.
I also wanted to do some Chocolate Chip Cookies, so I rolled out and used some of the prepackaged cookie dough. However, you can’t see the details of the character’s faces as much…but how could I not make chocolate chip cookies!!
They were now ready to go into the oven…can’t wait!
Frosting them was whole other adventure as you can tell from the pics because the frosting was not cooperating…
Time to Eat their Cookie Creations…

My Masterpiece (although I shouldn’t call it that..LOL):
I realized that Baking, when it comes to anything more than dropping store bought dough onto a baking pan with a spoon, is not really my strong suit. But we had a good time and the cookies were yummy so it was definitely worth it.
